                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Greg Johnson moved from Winnipeg Manitoba to Summerland BC in 1980. Soon afterward Greg saw a log home under construction and was fascinated by what he saw. He asked the builder for a job and he was hired. Greg spent the next 10 years learning the log home building trade. Soon a contractor recognized his ability and asked Greg to build a log house on his own , he accepted and the rest is history. Creative log homes was established in 1988.

Creative Log Homes is a small father and son business  in Summerland BC, Canada. Located in the British Columbia interior we are surrounded by a abundant and renewable supply of premium house logs. We are a well established log home company, constructing over 100 homes that grace the landscape around the globe. At creative Log Homes we pride our self with a 100% customer satisfaction record. Greg Johnson, owner and main builder/supervisor is personally involved with every log home keeping best possible quality control and attention to detail.
